Ash Shah
Ash Shah is a Houston based investor and entrepreneur with business interests in Chemical, Healthcare, Packaging Distribution, Real Estate and Energy products. He brings his business acumen for M&A advisory, strategic growth planning and building international markets.
Ash holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics & Economics is from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Master’s degree in Global Business from the prestigious Thunderbird Business School of International Management.He received the prestigious “International Entrepreneur of the Year” award from Indo- American Chamber of Commerce in Houston in 2013 for his business successes.
Ash first began his entrepreneurial pursuit in the field of Plastic and Packaging products over 20 years ago with his company “Impex Global, LLC”. Ash led the company to success all over North America with operations in several international markets. Ash’s leadership navigated the company through challenging times and in the process enabled him to make relationships with several industry leaders in Houston and nationwide. He sold his company to a leading private equity firm in late 2012.
Ash stays actively involved in philanthropy. He is the President of “Pratham” – an internationally reputed charity supporting literacy to millions of children in India. He is involved with a number of social and professional organizations like TIE (The Indus Entrepreneur), The Interfaith Ministries, Habitat for Humanity, Daya, Akshaya Patra, Indo American Political Action Committee, Club 24 and various other charities.
